Take your accountancy skills and abilities to the next level, developing your knowledge and therefore opening up a wide range of career opportunities in the industry, with this Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting. The qualification is fully accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
During the diploma, you will be introduced to a number of more complicated accountancy tasks, including the preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, indirect tax, and advanced bookkeeping.
You will learn how to maintain cost accounting records and how to prepare reports and returns, as well as exploring the ethics that affect accountants in today’s industry.
As this Advanced Diploma in Accounting is aimed at staff currently working in a finance role (across all occupations and sectors of employment), you will normally need to have completed the AAT Foundation Certificate.
How will I be assessed?
TThroughout the duration of this course, you will be assessed through a mix of exams and computer based projects. Since the introduction of AQ016, there will also be a Synoptic Assessment as part of the qualification.
Continuing Your Journey
With this AAT Advanced Diploma, you will have expanded your skills, knowledge and expertise in the accounting industry. The qualification you receive will also enable you to progress on to the AAT Professional Diploma for Accounting Technicians.
AAT qualifications are highly regarded by employers in both the private and public sectors, across a variety of industries. By studying this course, you will open up a huge range of careers in finance, covering accounting, aspects of auditing and related areas of law & data processing.
