(Short Course - 1 day)
If you’re regularly handling hazardous goods under the thresholds imposed by the ‘ADR’ regulations, or have you personnel at your company in this position, then this one-day course is perfect for you.
It’s designed to ensure anyone in this situation is aware of the dangers and consequences of not adhering to both company policies and legal requirements. You’ll look at legislation surrounding dangerous goods, and understand the regulations imposed and the impact they have in the workplace.
The course is tailored to meet needs of company, and can be specific to vehicles/loads used (based on UN Numbers). You’ll be made aware of all associated hazards and effects, and get an introduction to basic first aid. You’ll receive a certification of training upon completion that’s valid for three years.
You don’t need to hold any qualifications to enrol on this certificate course.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll research and produce short presentations on the regulations that affect you personally in the workplace, and complete a written, company specific assessment based on ADR Awareness.

With this qualification, you’ll demonstrate a commitment to your career and be able to carry out your daily duties with confidence, ensuring compliance at all times with current regulations and codes of practice.

The cost of this course is currently £75.00 per person, with corporate and group rates available.
