If you already have some practical experience in jewellery making, perhaps after completing one of our Spring into Jewellery short courses, and want to develop your design and practical skills further then this workshop gives you access to expert tuition and specialist resource to take you further. We run access to workshop in five week blocks and you can attend as many as you want. Access to our specialist tutor and resources means that you can tailor your own learning and develop personal projects in jewellery manufacturing to the level that suites you.

You should already have some practical skills in jewellery making and ideas with which to work from to enable you to get the most out of our specialist tutor.
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course, but you’ll receive informal feedback on your work from both your tutor and your fellow students, helping you to develop your skills further.
Continuing Your Journey
Many students want to continue to access our resources and tutor expertise to develop skills over several months or even years. The work you produced and the experience you will gain can also be used to support an application for an accredited course with The Manchester College – such as a Diploma in Art & Design: Jewellery or even as a springboard to our HND in Jewellery and Contemporary Crafts course. As you continue your studies and build your experience, you’ll open up doors to a range of careers in the art and design industry. Look at potential careers here !
Fees, Finance & Funding
The current fees for this course around £135 for 5 weeks’ access, which includes all materials except for silver.
