You may already have some practical experience in jewellery making, perhaps after completing one of our Spring into Jewellery short courses. If you want to develop your design and practical skills further, this workshop gives you access to expert tuition and specialist resource to take you further. We run access to workshop in five-week blocks and you can attend as many as you want. Access to our specialist tutor and resources means that you can tailor your own learning and develop personal projects in jewellery manufacturing to the level that suites you.
Our workshops run at multiple points throughout the year. Please contact the tutor, Ana Domenech, via email (ADomenech@tmc.ac.uk) or Northenden reception (0161 614 8003 or 8003) for the next available start date.
You should already have some practical skills in jewellery making and ideas to enable you to get the most out of our specialist tutor.
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course, but you’ll receive informal feedback on your work from both your tutor and your fellow students, helping you to develop your skills further.
Continuing Your Journey
Many students want to continue to access our resources and tutor expertise to develop skills over several months or even years. The work you produced and the experience you will gain can also be used to support an application for an accredited course with The Manchester College – such as a Diploma in Art & Design: Jewellery or even as a springboard to our HND in Jewellery and Contemporary Crafts course. As you continue your studies and build your experience, you’ll open up doors to a range of careers in the art and design industry.Careers page
