Designed to provide anyone will the skills and abilities to succeed in the public services sector – whether you want to work in the police force, fire department or armed services – this Level 3 Diploma in Uniformed Public Services will help you get a job you'll love.

You'll be wearing a uniform throughout the duration of the course, and experience the same kind of discipline and structure that you'll receive in your chosen service. You'll be learning the knowledge you need in a variety of areas – including government policies, citizenship and legal systems – and also honing your physical fitness.

On this Level 3 diploma, you'll also get to explore more of the skills needed for water and land-based adventure activities, take part in re-creations of major incidents, and learn how to operate a command and control centre! This will give you the best opportunity to pass the recruitment and selection process for your chosen service.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

You'll take part in both practical tasks and written assignments throughout this two-year course, each designed for your own self-development and to help improve your skillset.
