If you've always wanted to become a policeman or policewoman, dreamed of becoming a firefighter, or would love a career in outdoor education, then this Level 2 Diploma in Uniformed Public Services is for you.

Throughout the course, you'll be developing all the skills and experience needed to enjoy a successful career in your chosen service. In the classroom, you might be exploring the different types of career paths and employment opportunities open to you, whilst outside, you'll be training hard to increase your physical fitness.

You'll get to take part in expedition tasks and visit a number of outdoor pursuit centres to complete both water and land-based adventurous activities. As you build a wide set of skills, you'll be honing your abilities for successful recruitment in a public service role.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

You'll be assessed at various intervals during this one-year course, with both practical assignments and written tasks. Each will be designed to help your self-development and improve your skills.

With this Level 2 qualification, you'll be able to continue onto a Level 3 Diploma in Public Services with us here at The Manchester College.
