Being a student at The Manchester College has loads of benefits, and we want to make sure you enjoy as many of them as possible during your time with us. If you can get something for nothing, pick up some freebies, or save a ton of money when you’re out shopping, eating or exploring, then why wouldn’t you?
Whether you’ve just left school, you’re starting a degree or you’re returning to college as an adult, as soon as you enroll on any course with us you’ll automatically become a member of The Students’ Union and be able to join the National Union of Students (NUS).

You’ll receive an ID card from The Manchester College that will be your ticket to discounted student prices, wherever they are offered.
TOTUM Discount Card and App (Download the free app or buy the card to unlock student discounts)
TOTUM is the official student discount & ID card providing hundreds of thousands of students and vocational students with market-leading discounts from their favourite brands and providing a source of income for our Students’ Union. You can get discounts on over 200 brands on the high street and online. Download the free TOTUM app right now on the App Store or Google Play for selected discounts. You can also find out what’s going on at your Students’ Union while you are there. Or you can buy a physical card or virtual one on the app to unlock all the discounts.
Our Pass (Free 16-18 bus travel across Greater Manchester)
Anyone living in Greater Manchester and aged 16 - 18 can apply for a pass, which gives unlimited bus travel right across Greater Manchester. Manchester has fantastic transport links and with our useful overview of Manchester's transport system you can see how much Our Pass could beneift you. Also, pass holders will be able to access a range of other benefits, such as tickets to sports and music events.
