How to apply? Degree Courses

Applying for a university level course or degree at The Manchester College is really easy. The application process is slightly different depending on whether you’d like to study full time, part time or as an international student: just select your choice and follow the simple steps below.

Step 1: Find your perfect course and apply online

Once you’ve browsed through our range of university level degrees, courses and certificates and decided which course you’d like to study, you’ll need to apply through UCAS (The Universities and Colleges Admission Service).

You can do this either via the course page or by visiting the UCAS application portal directly. www.ucas.com

Step 2: Create a UCAS login

You’ll need to register with UCAS and create a user login for yourself. This means you’ll be able to return to your application whenever you want, taking your time to make sure you fill in everything correctly.

It will also mean you can track the status of your application when it’s complete.

UCAS has application deadlines. If you miss these, you’ll need to get in touch with our Advice and Guidance team.

Step 3: Follow the steps on UCAS

Once you’ve set up a username and password, you’ll just need to follow the step-by-step process on UCAS.

You might find you’ll need the following details from The Manchester College:

Institution Code: M10
Code Name: TMC

There is a small fee for the UCAS application, which is reduced if you’re only applying for one course.

If you need any extra help, simply ask your school or college for assistance, or get in touch (link to enquiry page) with our Advice and Guidance team if you’re not currently studying.

Step 1: Contact us for an application form

If you’ve found the perfect part time course and would like to apply, you’ll need to request an application form and send it directly to us.

Just email our course enquiries team , or give them a ring on 03333 222 444.

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll let you know as soon as we can, usually within 48 hours. If you haven’t heard from us after seven days, please get in touch .

Step 2: Attending an interview

Your application will then be passed to the relevant department and in some cases they may request you attend for an interview.

This is nothing to worry about and just helps your tutors get to know you better.

Step 3: Your acceptance letter

Once we’ve processed your application, we’ll send you a letter to let you know if it was successful and you’ve been accepted onto the course.

If there was an issue and we were unable to accept you, we’ll work with you to find another suitable course for your skills and interests.

We are no longer in a position to enrol any new International students due to our current home office status as a legacy sponsor.
