Radiation can diagnose and it can treat. In diagnosis, a radiographer uses intricate machines to take images of the human body and is an expert in interpreting those images. In treatment, they use radiation to treat illnesses like cancer. In both kinds of work they work closely with the patient and other medical professionals to plan and assess.
