This course will give you a full introduction into bookkeeping and will help you progress onto higher level accountancy courses to become a fully qualified Bookkeeper, or provide you with the skills to manage your accounts for your own business.
You will be introduced to the role of a bookkeeper and simple bookkeeping techniques.
Many companies contact us each year looking for accounting assistants. Achieving a Level 2 qualification in the same year would ensure that you become a very employable individual within this sector.
There are no formal qualifications are required but all learners will be initially assessed for English and Maths skills and interviewed to identify past achievements and experiences.
You will be assessed by a final online AAT exam
Upon successful completion of this course, you will have the opportunity to enrol onto other college courses dependent upon your interests, previous experience and qualifications, or you could progress onto the Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting course.
Careers pageThe course tuition and exam fees are funded for the vast majority of our learners but you will be fee assessed to determine whether this is the case. All learners will be required to pay a membership fee to AAT of £42.
