This course will provide you with an insight into basic accountancy techniques and single-entry bookkeeping. It will also provide a broader understanding of the business environment.
Many companies contact us each year looking for accounting assistants. Achieving a Level 2 qualification in the same year would ensure that you become a very employable individual within this sector.
There are no formal qualifications are required but all learners will be initially assessed for English and maths and interviewed to identify past achievements and experiences.
You will be assessed by a final online exam.
Upon successful completion of this course, you can enrol onto other college courses dependent upon previous experience and qualifications or onto Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting.Careers page
You will be required to pay a membership fee to AAT of £42 but the course is funded for most learners. You will be fee assessed to determine whether this is the case.
