This qualification will help students develop their skills and knowledge of the sport and physical activity sector. Areas covered by this course include principles of anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, fitness testing for sport and exercise, psychology for sports performance, and preparing for a career in the sport industry.

Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of supervised assessments, coursework, and presentations.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science or Sports Coaching. Students can also use this qualification to develop a career in the sports sector.Careers page
