  • Vegan cuisine has never been more popular, with cafés and restaurants nationwide responding to the demand. While it’s getting easier to find vegan main dishes out there, it’s much harder to find an amazing vegan cake, pastry or cookie.

    This course will teach you the techniques and provide you with the know-how to produce a variety of vegan products, and will be a revelation to the aspiring vegan baking guru, designed to get consistently delicious vegan baking results.

    Whether you work in a bakery, hotel, and restaurant or are just an avid enthusiast, this course can provide you with the skills and knowledge to be successful in vegan baking.

    The course will run over 10weeks on a Monday evening 5:30pm-8:30pm which will run from the 08/10/19-17/12/19 and 07/01/20-17/03/20.

  • There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however the applicant should have a passion for baking and the enthusiasm to develop their skills and knowledge.

  • At the end of the ten week course the student will have learnt the skills to produce a variety of products that will be presented to the class.

  • Upon successful completion of this course students can undertake another baking course to widen their skills even further. Students can use these skills and qualifications to work towards becoming skilled in their ideal job in the hospitality and catering industry. Job roles in this sector include bakers, flour confectioners, kitchen and catering assistants.
