Course Details

  • This course is ideal for individuals working in a support role within a legal profession, such as a legal administrator or receptionist. It will also provide a starting point for those wishing to begin a clerical role within the legal sector. Aspects of this course include the legal environment, financial aid in civil and criminal cases, pre-trial criminal procedure and sentencing, and principles of negligence.

  • There are no formal entry requirements, however it is recommended that applicants have achieved an English Language GCSE at Grade 4 or above. Applicants will be interviewed to identify past achievements and experiences, as well as assessed online for their English and Maths skills.

  • Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of in-class activities, group work, peer assessments, online examinations, self-assessments, and assignments.

  • Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto a CILEX Level 3 qualification. Students can also use these qualifications to develop a career as a legal secretary or legal administrator.

  • This will cost £229 for the entire course, plus £61.90 examination fees.
