Course Details

  • This qualification will enable you to develop your knowledge and understanding of substance misuse awareness, including alcohol, and its potential effects on individuals and others.

  • It would be beneficial for applications to have three GCSE’s at Grade 2 or above. Alternatively, you may have achieved Entry Level 3 in Functional Skills in English and Maths or an equivalent ESOL qualification.

  • You will be assessed for this qualification through completion of a workbook.

  • Upon successful completion of this qualification, you will have opportunity to progress onto our Level 1 in Health and Social Care or, alternatively, on to further study or a career in counselling, childcare, sport and recreation, community work, youth work or volunteering.
