Are you interested in a career in IT? This qualification is perfect if you want to explore the business processes used within IT infrastructure.
The course covers a range of topics that can be applied to the workplace such as security, help desk practices and IT policy.
You will develop the range of business skills required for dealing with both customers and internal colleagues when working in an IT infrastructure technician role.

You don't need any prior knowledge, however, you may find it helpful if you've already achieved a Level 2 qualification related to computing.
Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE in English and maths would be desirable, however you will be assessed on an individual basis for past experiences and overall qualifications.

You will sit an online test on campus at the end of your course, which will be assessed by Edexcel.

This course could help you start a career in areas such as:
- Cyber Security
- Networking
- Service management
- Cloud Consultant
- Delivery Architect
- Security test engineer

Should you wish to continue with an IT based course, we offer Level 3 Diplomas for those wanting to learn more about how devices function, network and security needs.
