The Great British Bake Off has created a passion for all things baking and chocolate related. If you love baking and want to learn how to produce a delicious chocolate products and treats, then this is the course for you.
This highly practical 3-day course is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike and will take you through the journey of chocolate history. It will teach you how to work with chocolate and will give you to skills to produce specialist products including moulded chocolate, dipped chocolate, truffles and chocolate decorations, ending with a mini chocolate showpiece.
Whether you’re thinking about setting up in business making chocolate treats for special occasions, you work in a bakery, hotel or restaurant, or you’re an avid enthusiast, this is the perfect course for you to develop your skills and knowledge.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but you should have a passion for chocolate and the enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge.
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. You will develop your practical skills throughout the three day course as you learn all about producing chocolate products.
Continuing Your Journey
Once you’ve completed this course, you could progress on to our Level 2 Patisserie and Confectionary course or broaden your knowledge further with one of our courses on cupcakes, cake decoration or hobby pastry.Careers page
