Our CILEx Level 2 Legal Studies qualification is ideal for individuals working in a support role within a legal profession, such as a legal administrator or receptionist, and provides a great starting point for those wishing to begin a clerical role within the legal sector.
Through this course you'll study the legal environment, financial aid in civil and criminal cases, pre-trial criminal procedure and sentencing, and principles of negligence.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, it is recommended that applicants have achieved an English Language GCSE at Grade 4 or above.
Applicants will be interviewed to identify past achievements and experiences, and will also be assessed online for their English and maths skills.
You'll be assessed through a variety of in-class activities, group work, peer assessments, online examinations, self-assessments and assignments.
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto a CILEx Level 3 qualification.
Students can also use these qualifications to develop a career as a legal secretary or legal administrator.
For the vast majority of applicants, this course will be funded by the government depending upon personal circumstances. You will be fee assessed before enrolment to determine whether any costs are involved.
