An online self-paced certifiction aligned course. With online materials, videos, pratical activities and quizes, our Cisco Network Security qualification is designed to prepare you for a career in network security.
Picture yourself as a security professional with the mission to protect your company's data from theft, damage, or disruption. Potential harm can come from a variety of sources. The risk can quickly scale to a high-consequence event where you will have to react using the right knowledge.
Our Network Security qualification prepares you for tasks like these by developing the skills needed to design, implement and support security for network devices and ensure their integrity.
Through the qualification you'll:
• Develop an in-depth understanding of network security.
• Design, implement, and support security for networked devices and data.
• Earn critical thinking and problem-solving skills using real equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer.
• Gain industry recognised skills aligned with the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework.

There are no formal requirements for this Cisco Networking course, but you should ideally have Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths to gain the most from the programme.
You should have gained some industry experience or have completed the three units of the Cisco CCNA qualification.

Throughout the duration of the course, you will complete a number of online tests in class, one final online exam, and one final work-based practical exam.
On completing the Network Security, you will earn a Badge that will be associated to your CCNA qualification.

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners can progress on to our Degree in Networking or Network Security, which takes three years and gains you an FDSc and BSc in Networking or Cybersecurity.
