If you have a natural passion for coding, and want to progress to the next level, then this course is for you.
With this Level 3 Award, you'll learn how to understand of a variety of coding and logical processes which will enable you to carry out the role of Infrastructure Technician efficiently.
You'll learn about the improvement of productivity through the use of technology, how to use tools to problem solve and troubleshoot IT infrastructure-related issues as well as how to support both internal and external customers.

There is no specific prior knowledge a learner must have for this qualification, however, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a Level 2 Digital Skills or Information Technology qualification.
Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE in English and maths would be desirable, however, applicants can be assessed on an individual basis for past experiences and overseas qualifications.

You will be assessed through an online test on campus at the end of your course and this will be assessed by Edexcel.

Should you wish to continue with an IT based course, we offer Level 3 Diplomas for those learners wanting to learn more about how devices function, network and security needs. Learners can then progress on to degree-level study with our higher education partner, UCEN Manchester. Students progressing from The Manchester College will receive a cash award through the Achievers Scholarship.
