Overview
This qualification will help students develop a foundation of practical skills and knowledge required to work within the construction industry. By looking at key principles students can build up their practical skills including carpentry and joinery principles, construction and design as well as learn scientific and mathematical applications for construction.

How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of assignments, presentations and practical’s.

Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto a level 3 construction qualification and eventually into a relevant higher education or an apprenticeship. Students may also use this qualification to progress into employment in the construction trades or as a technician.
