Overview
The SQA/CLC Level 4 Diploma is aimed at those learners who plan to become Registered Conveyancing Technicians in England and Wales.
Students will learn the required theoretical and technical knowledge for this occupational area and study the following five modules:
• English Legal System
• Standard Conveyancing Transactions
• Law of Contract
• Land Law
• Understanding Accounting Procedures for Conveyancing Transactions.
Having successfully completed this course, learners may progress on to UCEN Manchester’s SQA/CLC Level 6 Diploma (a prerequisite for students wishing to be eligable to become a Licensed Conveyancer).

Entry requirements
Whilst experience of working in the legal sector is not essential, many applicants are already employed in this field.

How will I be assessed?
All modules, with the exception of Understanding Accounting Procedures for Conveyancing Transactions module, are assessed through the completion of three assessments at the end of the module.
At the end of the Understanding Accounting Procedures for Conveyancing Transactions module students will be required to complete a written examination.

Continuing Your Journey
Having successfully completed this course, learners may progress on to UCEN Manchester’s SQA/CLC Level 6 Diploma (a prerequisite for students wishing to be eligible to become a Licensed Conveyancer).
