With a specific focus on TV and Film production, including every stage of the process from concept creation to audio and visual editing, this Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technologies provides a comprehensive introduction into the industry and will give you all the skills you need to prepare for a rewarding career in this sector.
You’ll learn about a wide range of film and television genres on this course, developing an understanding and knowledge of what goes into creating them. Then you’ll get creative, working with the exceptional facilities at The Manchester College to produce your own short dramas, music videos, documentaries, and multi-camera recordings.
Using professional DSLR cameras, state-of-the art audio equipment, dolly tracks, specialist lighting and a green screen studio, you’ll develop highly relevant skills for this industry, as well as the ability to research, budget, communicate, project manage and work in teams. All of the techniques and knowledge you learn will be invaluable in helping you secure an exciting role in the creative media industry.

How will I be assessed?
Throughout this diploma, you will be assessed via a number of different practical and theoretical assignments in each unit of study. You will also complete a final major project, which will combine research, planning and production skills.
Continuing Your Journey
After completing this Level 3 Diploma in Film and TV Creative Media Production, you’ll be able to develop your skills and knowledge even further with bachelor’s degrees, foundation degrees or HNDs in a variety of media-related subjects.Careers page
You could also enter the working world straight away with a junior position in the industry, having gained all the abilities you’ll need to succeed in a wide variety of creative media careers, in positions as diverse as cinematography and screen writing, sound design and camera operation.

If you’re 16-18 years old, without other Level 3 qualifications, you won’t have to pay tuition fees for this course. There may also be funding available for those with other circumstances or those over 19.Fees, finance and funding page
