This is the ideal qualification for anybody looking to develop customer service skills that they can apply in a customer focused public or private sector environments such as health, security, retail, hospitality and education.
These skills will be required to deal with customers effectively, face to face, or online

There are six learning outcomes;
- Understand the benefits to an organisation
of good customer service
- Understand the possible consequences of
poor customer service
- Understand the value of giving customers
a positive first impression of an organisation
- Understand positive verbal and non-verbal
interaction with customers
- Understand that respect for the individual
is at the heart of good customer service
- Understand how to deal with customer
complaints

Level 1 English or equivalent (grade 1-3 GCSE or Functional Skill) is desirable, however, all learners will be assessed to check that their level of English meets the requirements of the course regardless of previous qualifications

Through a portfolio of evidence which may include; written tasks, obervation of good customer service practice, and any other evidence such as screenshots, photos, videos, management testimonies

There are Level 3 courses available within the College to progress to, and this course will help you to develop your inter-personal skills in preparation for that level of study.
