  • You will learn how to produce house, hip hop, techno, drum and bass, dubstep, grime and R'n'B to a professional level. You will develop your practical DJ skills learning a range of techniques and applications. You will organise and promote your own club nights in addition to studying dance music culture and history. The course aims to give you all the skills you need to survive and thrive in the modern world of music production and DJ-ing.

  • • 48 UCAS points
    • Level 3 qualification in music technology, ideally at Merit or above
    • Experience of music production and/or DJ-ing
    • You will be auditioned/interviewed before being offered a place on the course to determine your passion and experience of music technology

  • • You will be assessed through a range of creative music production projects and practical performances as a DJ
    • You will be assessed on a research project based on dance music history

  • This course would prepare you for entry to a degree course in the area of music technology and production
    The course could also lead to studying the HND in Music
