Course Details

  • This qualification covers the essentials of dealing with difficult situations, including identifying strategies for preventing and resolving issues, and dealing with conflict and confrontation. It will help students to identify the common circumstances in which difficult situations arise, recognise the skills needed to deal with these situations effectively, understand and empathise with the reasons as to why a person may be angry or may seem difficult, and to practice dealing with difficult situations.

  • There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

  • Assessments for this qualification are made up of classroom based activities.

  • Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to continue onto further study in the area of employability skills, including unconscious bias, mental health awareness, time management and neurodiversity.
