(Full Time - 2 years)
This qualification will help students prepare for a career as an Early
Years Educator, enabling them to work with children from birth to
five years old. Students will also gain knowledge of working with
children aged five to seven years old. Areas covered by this course
include child development, health and well-being, understanding
children's additional needs, play and learning, assessment and
planning, and emergent literacy and maths.
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or equivalent
level 2 / GCSE English and maths preferable
assessment will take place through written assignments, work
based observations, reflective accounts and external assessment.
upon completion of this course learners will be able to continue
their studies and go on to Higher Education studying for degrees in
Early Years and or teaching pathways. Learners will also be able to
gain employment as a qualified early years practitioner.
