Overview
If you are interested in performing and want to increase your knowledge and your skills, this could be the course for you!
This one year course covers a variety of performance and production skills and techniques which will help you to build both your confidence and skills.
You will learn about choreographers, playwrights, composers or areas of the performing arts business depending on your particular area of interest. -
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, previous interest or experience in the subject is an advantage as possessing the confidence to explore performing in front of an audience.
Applicants will be required to take part in a practical audition and interview to assess their practical skills. -
How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification will be made up from a variety different methods, for example, performances, log books or presentations.

Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress on to the UAL Level 2 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts

Previous students have successfully gone on to professional work within the acting industry in television, theatre, theatre in education, physical theatre and comedy.
Other potential careers paths include directing (TV and theatre), scriptwriting, drama therapy, teaching, setting up and running your own theatre company, and events management. -
