Do you have a passion for how electrical systems work? Are you interested in learning more about building and maintaining electrical installations in machines and structures? If so, this Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations is the ideal course to begin your journey.
Throughout this yearlong course, you'll cover a wide range of areas within electrotechnical technology, as you develop the basic skills and experience you will need to progress onto an apprenticeship programme in this sector.
This includes a focus on the principles of electrical science, to lay the foundations for your practical skills, as well as the opportunity to get hands-on and explore electrical installations technology. You'll also examine health and safety within buildings services engineering.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.
Throughout this course, you'll complete a range of practical workshop assignments as part of your assessment, along with some on-demand multiple-choice tests.
After completing this Level 2 course in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures), you'll have a good, solid understanding of the electrotechnical industry and be well on your way to advancing your skills and knowledge even further.
