Overview
If you’re working in the mechanical fire protection sector installing fire sprinklers and need to develop the competency and knowledge necessary to meet industry standards and excel in your role, then this IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation is the course for you.
You’ll cover a wide range of topics to develop a full awareness of roles and regulations in the fire sprinkler industry. This will include health and safety, relationship building and communication, as well as how to manage your own resources. You’ll also look at maintaining compliance and dealing with non-complaint issues, along with the installation and final handover procedures for fire sprinklers.
With a diverse and flexible framework, this qualification will help you in a variety of different jobs and location types. -
Entry requirements
You don’t need to have any formal qualifications or experience to enrol on this Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation, but you should ideally be working at a Level 2 or higher and have a basic understanding of working at height issues.

How will I be assessed?
Each unit on this qualification will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence that you’ll build up across the duration of the course. This will demonstrate your knowledge, understanding and performance in the workplace and will meet the requirements of assessment principles of the British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association.

Continuing Your Journey
When you have completed this Level 2 Certificate, you’ll have the knowledge, expertise and a wide understanding of the fire sprinkler industry, with the skills you need to advance your professional career in a role such as a fire sprinkler installer, or fire sprinkler designer.
