When it comes to baking cakes, there’s no need to shy away from baking your favourite cakes, cupcakes and brownies because you can`t have gluten.
Instead, baking gluten free cupcakes and cakes can be a great way to experiment with different flours, baking aids and flavours. This course will teach you all of the techniques and provide you with the know-how to do just that.
Whether you work in a bakery, hotel, and restaurant or are just an avid enthusiast, this course can provide you with the skills and knowledge to be successful in gluten free baking.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however the applicant should have a passion for baking and the enthusiasm to develop their skills and knowledge.
How will I be assessed?
At the end of the three week course the student will have learnt the skills to produce a variety of products that will be presented to the class.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this course students can undertake another baking course to widen their skills even further. Students can use these skills and qualifications to work towards becoming skilled in their ideal job in the hospitality and catering industry.
