Overview
Are you passionate about styling hair and creating looks that people love? Could you see yourself working professionally in a salon and perhaps even running your own business one day? If you’d like to start a career in the hair industry, then this Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing is the perfect place to begin.
You’ll learn everything you need to know about working in a salon and cutting hair, including how to consult correctly with clients, how to effectively shampoo and condition the hair and scalp, as well as how to cut women’s hair. You’ll study units such as colouring and lightening hair and also perming and neutralising.
As part of the diploma, you’ll look at promoting products and services to clients in the salon and will get the chance to explore the art of hairdressing. This is a highly practical qualification and, along with a choice of optional units, it will give you the skills and knowledge you need to work in this exciting industry. -
