Overview
This course is intended for technicians whose job role involves the repair of vehicles involved in accidents or similar incidents and want to gain an IMI Re-accreditation. In order to re-accredit using ‘AOM Updates’ (Assessed Outcome Modules) the candidate’s ATA ID Card must remain valid throughout the assessments and until all of the prescribed AOMs have been passed. Should the card expire beforehand, the candidate will be required to re-take a ‘full assessment’.

Entry requirements
Applicants must have current experience working in the accident repair sector of the industry for a minimum of three years to ensure they are familiar with the skills, knowledge and techniques required for this course.

There are no formal assessments for this course.

Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will receive a certificate for employers and can expect career progression within the automotive industry. This course will prepare you for various roles in the industry such as vehicle damage assessing, roadside rescue or broader managerial positions.
