This course has been co-developed and designed with our industry partners and is one of our Industry Excellence Academy programmes. This means that you will be working with industry specialists including Invasion, giving you consistent opportunities to learn the skills necessary to become either a specialist web developer or software engineer of the future.

This course has been designed in partnership with Invasion Corp and live briefs that they set are driven by ensuring you have the enterprising skills that you will need to be successful in the digital industry.

Throughout this course you will get unrivalled industry experience in line with the working practices of Invasion you will take part in live briefs and benefit from industry expert input on the design and development of your assignments and projects. We have developed a wide range of units to give you a broad overview of computing and the digital world which allow you to explore software development projects and website design.

You will also learn about the core principles of computing and digital industries, and have the opportunity to let your creativity flow through digital graphics and animation. This course will help you on your journey to an amazing career or continue on to higher education.

You will be assessed through college and employer briefs as well as set projects and examinations.

You could stay with us, join our HE provision at UCEN Manchester, and complete a foundation degree in Software Development or Network Engineering, with an optional top-up year to earn a BA (Hons) degree.

This diploma will give you the qualifications you need to apply for a university-level degree course.
