The course has been created in partnership with Pie Analysis, an independent digital agency based in The Sharp Project, Manchester. The course provides various opportunities for those who have an interest in content creation for social media platforms & Digital Film production to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure.
The course will provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree-level study and employment in the digital media sector with a strong focus on social media & YouTube.
The curriculum assignment briefs reflect the demands of working in digital design and communication. We've put employment-focused skills at the heart of the course so you can confidently apply for creative and production jobs straight after leaving College.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.
How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed through written reports, blogs, vlogs, work journals, sketchbooks, portfolio development, image creation, design solutions, audio-visual recordings, one to one feedback and interviews.
There are no formal examinations connected to this course. A Students overall grade will come from the final major project assessed by tutors and moderated by the exam board at the end of each year.
