This vocationally related qualification will allow you to develop knowledge by applying your learning and skills in a work-related context. Through an external work placement within the Health and Social Care sector, you will have the ability to confidently practise health care procedure and understand
You can expect to study Human Lifespan Development, understand Health and Social Care values, learn to value healthy living as well as explore equality and diversity in Health and Social Care and carry out your own research projects.
Applicants must possess 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including English. Applicants also require an Enhanced DBS check in order to study on this course.
How will I be assessed?
Students will be assessed through a series of formal examinations and coursework projects, as well as 100 hours of supported work experience.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to progress on to our new exciting Level 3 T-Level industry linked course, launching in September 2021 and the opportunity to choose two different career pathways in the Health and Social Care sector.Careers page
