This qualification will help students develop an awareness of six of the key standard areas covered in the Care Certificate, with learners demonstrating knowledge and understanding of each area through a workbook. Areas covered by this course include understanding your role, your personal development, duty of car, equality and diversity, work in a person-centred way, and safeguarding adults.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of group discussions, questions and answers, and a workbook.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto a Level 3 Health and Social Care course. Students will also have a significant advantage when applying for roles in the sector, as all Health and Social Care staff are now required to complete the Care Certificate in the first 10 weeks of employment.Careers page
