Course Details

  • This short course will help students begin to understand the important standards of care to get them ready for employment or a higher level course. The course will introduce students to their role, personal development, their duty of care, equality and diversity and safeguarding in the workplace as well as how to work in a person-centered way.

  • There are no formal entry requirements for this course bust students should have a desire to work in the industry.

  • A range of assessment will be used including group discussion, tests, and the completion of a workbook.

  • Once you’ve completed this Level 2 course you’ll have access to further the level 3 Health and Social care qualification. This qualification can also support individuals who wish to enter employment in the care industry as all frontline health and Social Care staff are now required to complete the Care Certificate during their employment as this will give learners an advantage when applying for roles within the sector.

    This is a full cost programme – you will be required to pay the Full Tuition fee and any Certificate fee regardless of your income or personal circumstances.
