The Manchester School of Building
(Part Time - Non-released - 20 weeks)
This qualification will provide students with an introduction to the Construction industry and allow them to develop practical trade skills in Brickwork, Plastering, Plumbing, Painting and Decorating, alongside English and Maths. Students are encouraged to take part in group activities that are designed to develop skills in employability and teamwork.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification are made up of individual portfolios, practical assessments and English & Maths exams.
