This level 3 diploma provides you with the knowledge and practical skills required to undertake specific job roles in IT such as Network Support roles, entry level Network Engineers and IT Technicians, all of which are starting points for many successful careers in the computing industry.
The course incorporates Cisco study materials that validates the ability to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security.
This is also a great pathway to progress on to Higher Education and advance your IT skills to higher levels.

To be eligible for this course, you must have a Level 2 qualification in ICT Systems and Principles or equivalent and Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Maths or equivalent. You must also have a good understanding of computer systems and a basic understanding of network technologies.

This course is assessed by online tests, written assignments and observed practical tests.

Upon successful completion there are further opportunities to study on Higher Education degrees with UCEN Manchester such as Network Engineering with Administration, Cyber Security and Computer Science.
