If you aspire to work in the fast-paced logistics and transport industry, this course offers further insight into the sector. On the course, you will develop an understanding of the different aspects of the industry depending on which units you decide to specialise in.
The course will cover the following areas -
Two mandatory units:
• Introduction to Logistics
• Introduction to Customer Service and Marketing
Two units from the choice below:
• Introduction to Freight Transport Services
• Introduction to Planning and Operation of Freight Transport
• Introduction to Warehousing and Inventory
• Introduction to Purchasing
There are no formal entry requirements, however, students are required to have a determination and willingness to take part.
Completion of Level 1 Logistics and Transport will help in the basic understanding of the subject.
How will I be assessed?
This course is assessed through a portfolio of evidence and practical activities.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this course you can progress into Level 3 studies in Logistics and Transport or an Apprenticeship.Careers page
