Medical terminology is a vital part of any healthcare or medical administrator’s professional knowledge. This course provides a detailed education on the structure and meaning of medical terminology including terminology related to the body and to medication and prescription.
This qualification is suitable for those working in healthcare who want to advance their knowledge as well as anyone wishing to pursue a career in this industry.
You’ll need to hold a Level 2 Certificate in Medical Terminology or be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the medical industry to access this course. Previous knowledge may be gained through employment in the industry.
How will I be assessed?
Students must demonstrate their knowledge by undertaking a written exam.
Continuing Your Journey
Once you’ve completed this Level 3 course you’ll have access to study other related medical qualification. This qualification will support you in a careers in the medical emergency services, healthcare and as a medical administrator or secretary.Careers page
