The aim of this part time, evening course, is to enable participants to identify the major components of an Oracle Database. This can include retrieving row and column data from tables with the SELECT statement, creating reports of sorted and restricted data and employing SQL functions to generate and retrieve customized data.
You’ll start with an introduction to database concepts and manipulating data and learn how to retrieve data with the SELECT Statement. Then, you’ll begin to develop your skills converting functions and additional expressions and using Subqueries to solve queries.
The only qualifications we ask you to have when enrolling on this course are Literacy and Numeracy at an Entry Level 2 or above. There will also be an initial assessment.
Beyond that, all you need is a passion for data management and Oracle SQL.
