Overview
If you’re thinking about a career as a plumber and would like to start developing your skills in this industry, then this Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing is the perfect place to begin. You’ll cover all the basics of plumbing and start building up your knowledge for success.
During the course, you’ll learn about a wide variety of areas within plumbing and domestic heating, as you develop your skills and a solid working knowledge of the industry. You’ll look at the basics of hot and cold water supplies and focus on sanitation as a core part of your role as a plumber. Part of the diploma will also include health and safety within building services and engineering.
Although this diploma will not enable you to work as a fully qualified plumber initially, it will give you the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 qualification with us. -
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this Level 2 Plumbing Diploma, but we will invite you to attend an informal interview and short assessment, so that you can demonstrate your ability to work towards a Level 2 qualification.

How will I be assessed?
Throughout this course, you’ll complete a range of practical workshop assignments as part of your assessment, along with some online multiple-choice tests.

When you have completed this Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing, you’ll have a good foundation of skills and knowledge in the industry to enable you to advance onto the Level 3 Diploma with us at The Manchester College and take your abilities to the next level.
