Principles of Coding

This qualification is for learners who work in, or who want to work as a Digital Marketer within the Marketing industry. These qualifications give learners the opportunity to:
• develop knowledge related to develop written communication, review on-line activity, apply structured techniques to problems, digital campaigns, use of digital tools and analytics of marketing activities,
• develop technical knowledge and understanding in coding, marketing and digital marketing.

It is expected that the learner will have achieved at least a L1 functional skills in English and maths, however level 2s in these qualifications are desirable. You are expected to have experience of working in the digital marketing industry to aid your studies.
Applicants prior achievements will be also assessed on an individual basis for past work experiences and overseas qualifications.

You will sit an online test on campus at the end of your course which will be assessed by Edexcel.

This course could help you start a career in areas such as:
- Digital Marketing campaigner
- Social media analyst and promoter

Should you wish to continue with an IT based course, we offer L3 Diplomas for those learners wanting to learn more about how devices function, network and security needs. Learners can also progress on to degree-level study with our higher education partner, UCEN Manchester. Students progressing from The Manchester College will receive a cash award through the Achievers Scholarship.
