Course Details

  • This course will give students the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of food safety and health & safety awareness in the Hospitality and Catering industry.
    Students will learn different methods of how to prepare food, and through the optional units, are able to broaden their knowledge on healthy diets and how to use kitchen equipment.

  • To access this course, students will require GCSE grades 4 to 9.

  • This course will be assessed by portfolio based work and practical assessments.

  • This course will lead to the Level 2 Certificate/Diploma in Professional Cookery.
