This qualification will help students understand key marketing metrics and measurement techniques, giving them the skills needed to interpret relevant insights and to make informed strategic marketing decisions.
The course consists of two mandatory modules and one elective module. The mandatory modules, Strategic Marketing and Mastering Metrics, will help students learn how to take a strategic approach to marketing planning, and how to manage marketing data for effective decision making. The elective module Driving Innovation, will explore the relationship between marketing and entrepreneurship. The elective module Digital Strategy, will help students understand how digital marketing capabilities can be implemented into strategic planning.
Applicants will need to have either a Level 4 CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing, a Foundation Degree in Business with Marketing, or another relevant Level 4 qualification.
Alternatively, applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognised university with at least one third of credits coming from marketing content. Applicants with at least two years’ experience of professional marketing practice will also be considered.
If English is not the applicant’s first language, they will also need to have gained an English Language qualification within the last two years.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of examinations, work-based assignments, and a work-based portfolio.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their marketing career, taking on more advanced duties and applying for management-level roles. Fees, Finance & Funding
The current fees for this course is £700, plus assessment fees of £180 per unit. You will also need to be a studying member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), which costs £50 per year and is payable directly to CIM.Fees, finance and funding page
