Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

The course is assessed through portfolio building, group work, online assessments, presentations and examinations.
A students overall grade will come from combining all units assessed by tutors and moderated by the exam board at the end of the year.
You will be required to commit to a minimum of 15 days' work placement with an employer and to help you with this you will be allocated a named Employer Co-ordinator who will support you prior to starting and during your placement.

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to progress on to an apprenticeship, higher apprenticeship or wide range of high education courses, foundation degrees and Batchelor of Arts degrees, including with our higher education partner, UCEN Manchester. Students progressing from The Manchester College will receive a cash award through the Achievers Scholarship. You will also have the opportunity to progress into employment in careers such as customer service, digital marketing or events management.
