This short course will help give students the knowledge and skills to improve their understanding of the key principles and considerations required to safeguard children.
Students will look into types and indicators of harm, legislation frameworks that covers safeguarding children, how to recognise and respond to concerns and practical strategies to prevent harm to children.
This course is suitable for any Health and Social care students or frontline staff working or volunteering in the early years sector.
How will I be assessed?
This course will be assessed by quiz at the end of the training.
