This qualification has been designed to provide learners with an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in a school or college environment.
The course covers a wide range of areas including children and young people’s development and supporting children and young people’s positive behaviour and communication.
Applicants must be working at Level 1 Literacy, which can be assessed at interview, or have a Level 1 English qualification.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of assignments and observations of workplace practice.
