If you are interested in gaining the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school or college environments, then this course will be highly suited.
This course covers a wide range of areas including children and young people's development, supporting children and young people's positive behaviour and safeguarding children and young people.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

you will be assessed via a portfolio of evidence which will include assignments, practical observations of your skills and reflective accounts of your experiences

You will be able to continue on to a T Level in Education and childcare or level 3 Diploma in childcare and Education. You will also have the opportunity in future to gain employment as a Teaching Assistant.
