T Levels are new courses, which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to 3 A levels. These 2-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares you for work.
The Level 3 T Level in Education and Childcare is a technical qualification, which will include high level core theory within the classroom environment, as well as having the opportunity to gain specialist skills within a childcare setting working within the industry.
You have the opportunity to choose an occupational specialism in early years or supporting teaching and learning.
Every T Level will include an industry placement with an employer focused on developing your practical and technical skills, required for your future occupation.

Applicants can progress from the Level 2 T Level transition course.
Applicants must have 5 GCSEs Grade 4 and above. Grade 4 required in English and Maths
Applicants must undertake a pre-enrolment assessment.
How will I be assessed?
This course will be assessed by written examinations, employer-set projects and Occupational Specialism Component assignments and observations.

Upon successful completion of this qualification, you can progress on to university and primary education.Careers page
Your T Level will be worth UCAS points. A T Level Distinction* is worth the same as 3 A Levels at A* – and will be recognised by universities and other education providers.
UCAS points will only be allocated to your overall T Level grade. You must achieve at least an overall pass grade to receive UCAS points.
